TiTle : Introduction to Floer Homotopy: Formal Groups and Complex Cobordism
Abstract :

One crucial ingredient in Abouzaid-Blumberg's construction of the stable homotopy type associated to the flow category of Hamiltonian Floer theory is that these moduli spaces always have a stable almost complex structure. This allows us to construct a complex-oriented generalized cohomology theory. As a first step in this direction, we introduce complex cobordism and its relations to formal groups, pioneered by Lazard.
